Make a Chique Cocktail Ring

Those of us who love to MAKE jewelry are always looking for new and interesting innovations to make our jewelry distinctive and unique. Well, I recently stumbled upon something called "Crystal Clay" available at Beadaholique and since I already love to do mosaics, this was right up my alley! Crystal Clay is a 2-part system epoxy clay that does not need heat to cure. It bonds to just about anything so you can make beautiful rings, pendants, keychains and more in a matter of minutes. You simply put a little dollop of the clay onto the surface of a ring or pendant base and then using some tweezers, imbed things in the clay like sparkly Swarovski crystal flatbacks or tiny seed beads or little silver beads. The only difference between this and mosaic tiling is there is no grouting process so there's very little mess or clean-up required. You just place your stones where you want them and then let it set. Voilla! This is so much fun!
