Spring is almost here WOOHOO! Are YOU ready? I love the colors of SPRING...it's time to put away all those solid, dark colors and launch yourself into some bright corals, cherry pinks, bold turquoise, soothing teal, lively greens, yummy butterscotch, romantic lavender and more! (SEE PANTONE'S COLOR FORECAST BELOW). Accents of black, grey and chocolate brown are fine for a little pop here and there but focus on the flowers! Your wardrobe should contain a collection of ready-to-wear Spring items that you feel confident and comfortable in. Separates are always a great solution in order to get the most bang for your $buck$ - make smart purchases that create a timeless wardrobe - go for QUALITY not quantity. Work with a Stylist (privately, or, at the department store) if you need help - fashion is an investment. WHAT YOU NEED: A selection of cute tops and blouses with varying sleeve lengths; a few layering type of sweaters or shrugs; several skirts; some classic dress pants; a fun, flirty dress (or two); and some casual pants & shorts. And don't forget about shoes - make sure you have varying heel heights and a couple of cute pairs of wedges and flats. In addition to clothing, it's important to have some pretty costume jewelry to accessorize each outfit with. A few bangles or beaded bracelets; some statement earrings; some chunky bold necklaces paired with longer silver or gold chain necklaces and you're good! Put away all the heavy vintage stuff for now. These are classic, timeless pieces that are appropriate in the Fall and Winter months but it's time to lighten it up!
